I think you're missing the point here! When someone orders food that is SUPPOSED to be BONELESS and they feed it to their kids and their kids start choking on bones...that's a problem. SO...no it's not surprising bones are a part of chickens and other animals we eat meat off of. However, it's disturbing that companies care so little about making sure their food is safe...especially food that is likely to be eaten by young children.

Chickens have bones, glad somebody finally explained that to me. What still upsets me is McDonalds getting away with telling the public their nuggets are boneless white meat chicken.Chickens have bones - yesFast food is processed animal parts - yesDoes McDonalds put these warnings on the fun boxes? - No, they shouldn't have to because they only sell boneless white meat chicken nuggets. Right?I grew up eating McDonalds but my children have not. We just happened to get lucky one night while visiting school friends at the PlayPlace. It's my opinion McDonalds has the money to serve the "bone free" food they market to the masses. This post is emotional, but it's also my site. Thanks for stopping by.

...It's texts like these that make me wonder what the hell is going on with the world, in general.

NEWSFLASH, CHICKEN HAVE BONES. GET OVER IT. McDonald's goes over the process like every single company out there, when it comes to deboning meat, but guess what, sometimes tiny parts of bones get through the intricate system. Oh, did you know that a good percentage of the stuff inside anything that contains soy, corn or any kind of plant actually contains insects? Google it.

People just don't decide what they want, sometimes there's the "IT'S NOT CHICKEN" scandal, but when you find a little bone in a CHICKEN nugget, you get your panties all bunched up. Seriously? Eat pills if you want a non-natural, clean, perfect food.
Also, for the love of christ, teach your kids to eat like humans. My 3 years old son thankfully knows very well how to pick bones out of a piece of chicken, eat watermelon without swallowing seeds, and generally taking small, careful bites. Hell, he knows how to pick the good berries right from our acerola tree and spit the seeds out.

Next thing you guys are gonna be whining about how you found a seed in a natural fruit slushie, or a piece of skin in a fillet of fish.

So sorry that this is still happening and I'm so glad you found it before your son choked. When McDonald's lawyer called me regarding the above, they told me I had two options - accept their offers of coupons, etc. as monetary compensation or forgo that compensation and report the incident to Tyson. I told them that I wanted it reported to Tyson and I was offended that they attempt to bribe consumers into not reporting the issue. As we all know, no one is going to fix something if they don't hear complaints. Tyson had us fill out a bunch of paperwork (to which we got no response) and eventually we got 3 $10 coupons in the mail with no follow up to our complaint. I would definitely call McDonald's office and tell them what happened - we were told that the restaurant should ALWAYS fill out a report so it sounds like they just didn't want to deal with it.

I also feel that there is a discrepancy in product quality between McDonald's nuggets and nuggets that are sold under the Tyson brand. I have not heard a lot of bone complaints about regular Tyson nuggets, but McDonald's seems to have this issue frequently. McDonald's tries to blame Tyson, but this isn't a problem Tyson has with their own products and at the same time, McDonald's offers consumers benefits for not reporting the issues. That doesn't sound like a company that cares about their consumers or about making their (child oriented) products safe.

My 2 year old son had a chicken nugget last week that contained a large bone in it. It was a wide one. Thank God I still break his food up and found it. He definitely could have choked to death on it if he swallowed it. i reported it to the manager on duty and was apologized to. No complaint form was given to me. I said "you really need to alert the corporation about this." She said they are aware and that my complaint was not the first they received at their store regarding this SAME issue. Umm..HELLO! Why is there not a mass recall on all of the nuggets? It's going to take a death or very serious injury before the big corporation does something about this!!!! I am a very upset mother and refuse to ever purchase their nuggets again. I have spread the word to all my friends and family members especially ones with small children. Nugget eaters BEWARE!!!!

The code is correct, but the word "table" is a reserved keyword in SQL. I never name my database tables "table" so I've never run into this one before.Do you have any other tables in your database that you can run this code against?-EF
